Two Sample storage bottles, 100 ml each 3. Two plastic Petri dishes with cover, diameter 60 mm 4. Two plastic transfer pipettes 5. One pair of plastic gloves 6. Two cloth meshes 7. One plastic forceps 8. One LED flash light 9. Two rubber bands Usage Place samples of interest on a white paper or in the plastic dish. Place the magnifier directly on the sample and observe. For best results, you may need to shine the flash light onto the sample from side. To take a picture, set you camera to take picture from short distance and position your camera close to but not touch the glass magnifier. To keep insects alive in a storage bottle, cover with cloth mesh instead of plastic cap. Cloth mesh can also be used to filter solid samples from muddy water. Safety Ask an adult when you are handling anything that is unknown to you. Wear gloves when handle animal and plant specimen.
