This is a great way to start learning about robotics. What you will receive:A link to RobotC source code that you can download in to the mindstormPlans and drawings to build the robot car as shown.Instructions needed to make the car work, such as how to download RobotC, compiling the code, how to download the code to the robot. You will have to provide your own Lego Mindstorm robot and parts. We only show you how to build it. After completing this kit, you will learn how to:Detect objects using sonarbuild a car using Mindstorm kitcontrolling motorsbeginner/basic C programming Basic email support will be provided for the first 30 days. How it works:There is a sonar unit that you will have to purchase separately that is used to detect obstacles. Purchase by googling “Ev3 Ultrasonic Sensor”.The rest of the robot parts comes with a Lego Mindstorms kit, which you can purchase by searching for “Lego Mindstorms”. The sonar is rotated by the motor in order to scan objects in its surroundings.It is able to detect most surfaces except for soft carpet and clothing ahead of it.
